Luis Knaak Quezada is the founder and president of DTS Infrastructure Project Services. He has over three decades of experience in the world of infrastructure, formed by different management positions at AES for 25 years and general managing the San Antonio Port. 

He has led mega projects such as Alto Maipo in the Cajón del Maipo region of the Metropolitan Region, Chile, for AES Gener, and Puerto Exterior, the most important port project on the west coast of Latin America, at the Port of San Antonio, Chile.

Throughout his career, he has tackled challenges in various countries and markets across Europe, Asia, Central America, the Caribbean, North America, and Latin America, consistently demonstrating his ability to lead major projects that make significant differences in the industry on both national and international levels.

His ability to lead teams/groups and high-profile projects, combined with his skills in translating complex visions to tangible realities, has led him to work/act as General Manager in various electric companies, as well as partaking in their boards and presiding over them. 

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federico Santa María Technical University, Chile, a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, a certification in Management from Darden Business School at the University of Virginia, an intensive executive education program from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, and a diploma in Corporate Governance from ESE Business School at the University of Los Andes.
